Introduction
Nico Flores is a talented recording engineer who has made a name for himself in the music industry. Born in Rosenberg, TX, Nico found his passion for music at a young age and pursued it relentlessly. Immediately after graduation, Nico continued to work hard and began an internship at iMix Recording Studios with Bruce Bang. Bang has been curating the Houston Hip Hop & R&B scene and abroad for over 25 years with his expertise as a Producer and Mix Engineer. This internship at iMix Recording Studio allowed Flores to learn what it is like to maintain a client base as well as network with other industry professionals.
Nico has successfully built a loyal and satisfied client base due to his exceptional skills as an audio engineer. As a result, he has gained a reputation for being a highly respected and sought-after professional within the industry. Moreover, his consistency in delivering high-quality work has contributed significantly to his success, enabling him to establish long-term relationships with his clients and continually expand his business.
With the skills he was developing at iMix, Nico applied for No Name Studio in LA, which is known for its high level of competition. When asked how many people applied for his position, Nico replied, “Everyone wants to be there, I got blessed. It was everything.” This opportunity along with his rising reputation allowed him to work with MixedbyAli, where he continues to learn and grow as a certified audio engineer. Working with a highly respected professional who has won 4 Grammy Awards, achieved 2 Diamond Certifications, and earned 151 Gold/Platinum Certifications has exposed Nico to a great deal within the entertainment industry.
Alongside his studio sessions in Cali, Nico has recently also been on tour. He toured with Maxokream, Ski Mask the Slump God, $not, and SucideBoyz, doing everything and anything he could to help. He traveled to approximately 30 different cities, gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way.
